Filmed while on holiday
at the memorials commemorating the Korean War, Battle for Iwo Jima and
the Viet Nam war, the video would be nothing without music. By
pure happenstance, while searching the internet for some obscure
music, I found this slightly different version of the American Civil
War classic "When Johnny Comes Marching Home."
Performed by a Finnish
folk called Pilasoittajat, I was covered in goose bumps the
first time I heard this song. When used as the backing track for
this video, it never ceases to put a lump in my throat.
