Lot's of people take for
granted what they have - when they have it. Take it away and all
you're left with is a lot of regrets. Such was my situation.
There were things I wanted to say to my folks when they were alive but
never seemed to get around to it. I wish my kids would have had
the opportunity to know their grand parents better. But its not
too late for their kids, my grand kids, to learn all about their
roots.
Digging through tons of
old pix and some really treasured video clips, I created a video which
commemorates the lives of my parents. Follow the lives of Bea
and Fred Browne as they grew up in New York City during the Roaring
Twenties and became successful Big Band entertainers. Bidding a
less than fond farewell to The Big Apple, my folds resettled in South
Florida where they decided to raise a family and enjoy the good life.
I had a ball
making this video, especially using music indigenous to the times to
help set the feeling and the mood. I hope you enjoy watching it.
