People do strange things
when they drink. Some people get loud, some get boisterous, some
get violent... I made music videos! Note... that was MADE as in
the past tense.
Filmed back in 1984, when
camcorders were just beginning to get popular, I played around with
doing a video lip-sync.
Not having any real
sophisticated equipment, my goal was to have a decent sound. I
used a portable cassette boom box, equipped with RCA audio out jacks.
I fed the audio out jacks into the stereo audio in jacks on my AKAI
(over the shoulder) VHS deck. As I rolled video, I was able to
hear the music through speakers on the boom box. This way I was
able to capture both video and high quality stereo audio, at the same
time.
