What better reason to take a holiday overseas than to attend the 50th birthday of a friend.

After finding some real cheap seats on Delta Airlines, Fran and I flew to England on May 3. After arriving at London's Gatwick airport, we took a 2 hour bus trip to Oxford where we stayed a few days with our friends Deborah and Chris Terry.

Having acclimated to the time difference, we set out on our own to explore England's West Country returning just in time to attend Chris' Big 50 birthday bash on May 10.

The following day (which I later regretted), the four of us headed off to the south coast of England to the county of Dorset.
