Andy... I am always amazed at the sterling qualities exhibited by Fran each year.  Her patience, self-sacrifice and general attitude (when you consider that she resides with three men in one house) are remarkable.  My hat's off to her.  Now about this cheating death stuff, have you tried the class 5's on the Ocoee and the Chatooga?   They are fun and like to suck rafters right out of the boat!  Your newsletter is always a joy and fun.  Please don't stop and DO NOT TAKE ME OFF THE LIST!

Hey there Tricia... What the hell is this... praising my wife.  You say nothing of the patience and self sacrifice I have to make having to make up for her lack of gainful employment.  And what's with the innuendo regarding my rafting prowess.  You mention Class 5 on the Ocoee and Chatooga.  I was initiated on both of those rivers and NEITHER can hold a candle to the Class 5's up in Maine.  Let's get your facts straight lady.  If you're up for it, how about doing the Gauley with me in September.  Guaranteed to be a hot run!
