Third Time's a Charm...

Charlotte, NC - On April 9, 1998, Mike Browne, a (somewhat humbled) 16 year old know it all, walked into the Charlotte Drivers License Testing office for the third time in less than 4 weeks.  His mission... pass the skills test so he can get his illusive North Carolina drivers license.

What seemed like an absolute impossibility was really a wake up call for Mike.

Mike learned two major lessons here

He was determined not to make the same mistakes that kept him from getting his license the previous two times. Well the third time proved to be a charm!  He passed with an absolute perfect score.  Didn't hit a single car or pedestrian.

The great State of North Carolina has finally affirmed it's confidence that Michael Andrew Browne is capable of operating a motor vehicle.

As a side note, by virtue of his passing this relatively simple test, my auto insurance increased by 100%.

Lesson #1: Don't stop at green lights just because there is oncoming traffic. (Duh!)

Lesson #2: Don't argue with the examiner when they say turn right and you want to turn left!
